My Absolute Must Have Drugstore Make-Up Products Under $10

Everyone knows that Ulta and Sephora are glorious places. They are absolute heaven for all make-up lovers. However, you sometimes aren’t near one or just need to run to the store to grab some products that are inexpensive. And a lot of the time you can find some amazing products just at your local drugstore. I have a few favs that are staples in my make-up bag. I love to try so many products and there are many more that are great, but these few are my absolute cannot live without drugstore products and they are all under $10! I don’t have the products listed in any particular order, I need each one as much as the next!

1.NYX MICRO EYEBROW PENCIL

THIS PENCIL! I cannot say enough good things about it! It makes drawing on my very sad, nonexistent eyebrows easy peasy lemon squeasy! The pencil end is thin where you can draw nice thin lines, shaping your eyebrow perfectly without making those sharpie marker thick eyebrows because nobody wants that. Well unless that’s what you’re going for, and in that case, draw away! But seriously, this pencil makes it a snap to draw my eyebrows on quickly and they last all day. If you rub your eyebrow it will smudge, but as long as you’re not rubbing your eyebrows it will stay all day, without fading. This pencil is pretty much all I having been using for my eyebrows for the past two years and I am always completely lost if I run out. Thankfully, it is easy to find and I usually order mine from amazon. It varies, but it is usually between $8-$9 on amazon. Having hair that is naturally a medium/dark brown, I use the shade Brunette. It matches my natural hair color perfectly. I highly, highly recommend this if you are in the market for a new eyebrow product! (You can get the eyebrow pencil Here)

2.NYX CONTROL FREAK EYEBROW GEL

Now, this eyebrow gel is my next must have! Whenever I draw on my eyebrows I always brush them upward and put the gel on them to give them a more natural look. I like when my actual eyebrow hairs come over my drawn on eyebrow line slightly to give it a less sharp look. I like to give the illusion that I actually have more full natural brows. I also use this gel when I’m doing a no make-up look to make my brows look fuller by brushing them up and then gelling them in place because naturally they just lay to the side, making them look very thin. This gel is clear so it does not add any pigment to your brows if you use it alone. I personally prefer clear gel since I do use it over top of my eyebrow pencil and I don’t want my brows to end up too dark. The gel does make your brows a little stiff, as gel does, but it does not get flaky from my experience and I have used this eyebrow gel for years. It does vary, however, it is usually between $5-$7 on amazon. (You can get the eyebrow gel Here)

3.MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND CONCEALER

This concealer is honestly the most bomb drugstore concealer you could ever use! The coverage is *chef’s kiss*. I can stay up all night, be dehydrated, have a period breakout and my skin will look amazing! I’ll look like I have the skin of a hydrated and rested goddess. Use a shade lighter than your skin tone under the eyes and be sure to set it under the eyes with a translucent powder for the best results. If I am not in the mood for foundation, I will use this concealer in a shade closest to my skin tone to cover any small discolored spots on my face and go. It blends into my skin so well that you can’t even tell I’m only wearing concealer in certain spots on my face. I’ve even used this concealer as foundation and dabbed it all over my face. When using it this way, you do not need to put as much product as you would for regular foundation because it has a lot of coverage and will come out a bit thick if you use too much. It makes your skin look so beautiful and smooth. It’s a 10 out of 10 recommendation for me! I’ve seen the largest variation in price for this product. I’ve seen it sell anywhere from $7-$10 on amazon. (You can get the concealer Here)

4.MAYBELLINE HYPER EASY LIQUID LINER PEN

I’ve had my fair share of troubles with liquid liners. It’s like they can sense your fear of them and then all of a sudden you’ve got eyeliner everywhere but your eyes. They can honestly be such a pain in the butt, but this eyeliner has been the easiest to use in my opinion! It glides on so smooth and doesn’t skip like some eyeliner pens do. It has a thin precise tip that makes drawing that wing on amazing! If you’re not big on thick eyeliner or winged eyeliner, it works nicely to put just a small, thin line along your eyelash line as well. You do not have to press down hard for it to work. If you’re too heavy handed it will make your line thicker, so do light strokes. It isn’t a felt tip the way a lot of the liquid eyeliner pens are. It is actually very small bristles all together, so the tip is more brush like. It works beautifully and it does not run or fade. As with pretty much any make-up, if you rub it hard enough it will come off, but stays on well as long as you’re not rubbing your eyes. I love, love, love this eyeliner and it is amazing for any type of eyeliner look! Usually I see the price vary from about $6-$8 on amazon and in other stores. (You can get the eyeliner Here)

5.COVERGIRL LASH BLAST VOLUME MASCARA

And last, but certainly not least, this baby right here! It’s been my drugstore go-to mascara for over 10 years! That makes me feel entirely too old, the fact that I’ve not only been wearing make-up for over 10 years, but that I’ve had a favorite make-up product that I’ve been buying for myself for over 10 years. But I digress. This mascara is so amazing because it makes my lashes longer and much more voluminous! The way that the bristles on the wand are made keeps your lashes from getting clumpy and sticking together. That was always one of my favorite things about this particular mascara because I would always have issues with my lashes getting clumpy with some other drugstore brands that claimed to give you volume. The wand keeps them separated which I think is what makes them look longer and like you have more voluminous lashes. I personally do not use the waterproof version because I am not a fan of ANY waterproof mascaras. It seems like waterproof mascaras always dry my eyelashes out and make them fall out easier. The regular version works well for me and stays on how I need it to, but it will run if it gets moist. However, they do have the waterproof version if you are someone who prefers waterproof mascaras. I’m sure the other Lash Blast mascaras are just as amazing, but I’ve always preferred the orange tube since it was specially for volume. This mascara can usually be found from around $5-$8 on amazon and in stores! (You can get the mascara Here)

These 5 products are absolute lifesavers when I need a quick make-up look before heading out the door! They are always, always in my make-up bag, and being so small, I sometimes even keep them in my purse in case I need a quick touchup throughout the day. When you have kids or you’re just in a hurry and know you don’t have time for a full beat, these are perfect to give you the almost no make-up, make-up look. I’ve been using most of these for at least 2 years and some of them for over 10 years, so I definitely stand by these. I hope this helped you find some inexpensive new drugstore products you can try and love as much as I do! Leave a reply below if you’ve tried some of these and how you liked them or let me know some of your drugstore favs so I can try them out! Feel free to also leave below any things you would like me to write about or review, whether it be make-up related or something completely different! I’m open to any topics!

Also, don’t forget to take time for yourself, tell people no, and put your pop-tarts in the toaster vertically! Love you guys! ~SUMMER
